Her little body couldn't handle any more, and she died Oct. 24.Although the past year has been beyond difficult, Teresa has found some solace in the videos she had of her only child as well as photos and a cell phone that had voice recordings Kristen had made.On Sept. 8, Teresa came home from work to find her back door wide open."At first I was afraid there was Discount Tiffany Keys in my house," she saidFortunately, there wasn't, but Teresa soon found many things she had once owned were no longer in the house.Teresa said the detective investigating the burglary said her house was one of three in the area "hit" that day. He also told her an odd distinction made her home stand out from the other two.Every photo of Kristen that was sitting at eye level had been tilted over so it was face down.
"I think maybe that shows they had a conscience," she said. "He said he didn't know that they knew it was my house when they decided to (burglarize) it, but they probably recognized Discount Tiffany Money Clips photo and knew once they were inside."The typical things were taken from Teresa's house -- jewelry, cameras, televisions, computers and other electronics. But in taking those things, the Discount Tiffany Necklaces took sentimental mementos that can never be replaced."There were memory cards for the cameras with Kristen's photos, tapes to the camcorder of Kristen. They took her baby jewelry and jewelry I had bought her, jewelry she bought me for Mother's Day and things. Of course, they took her (Nintendo) DS and her laptop," Teresa said. "Kristen was in a motorized wheelchair. The things she did were electronic, and it was of course the electronic things they stole."
Kristen's jewelry box containing her baby earrings and necklace, along with a more recent gift from her mother -- a sapphire and diamond necklace -- was among the items stolen. They also took the cell phone with her voice recordings."She (Kristen) is gone now. I will never be able to get those things back," Teresa said.I'm hoping that's not the case. I agree with Teresa that the Discount Tiffany Notes or people responsible for theft has a conscence. I plan to play on that now.I know there's a chance whoever took the items no longer has them, but maybe they do. If so, Teresa is just asking for the sentimental items.Giving back the video tapes and memory cards and that cell phone with Kristen's voice recordings shouldn't be very painful. But their return would mean so much to a woman who has already had to endure more than any parent should.
